Renewal – Embedded within this word is the idea of bringing about new life, energy, or strength to something that has become worn out, damaged, or stagnant. All individuals no matter their age or experience have the capacity and potential for feeling fully present and alive, unburdened by their past. Yet we live in time of history where that is becoming increasingly more difficult to achieve. Here our fundamental goal is to support our clients in reaching that state of aliveness, to help our clients in processing stuck emotions, resolving past traumas, reorganizing and retraining the mind and the brain, and to facilitate access to the strengths and gifts that are held dormant within. To invigorate, to encourage, to vitalize… in essence, to renew.

I started Renew to be a solution. The mission: to provide high-quality, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective psychological treatment to those seeking support. By combining clinically-effective psychotherapy styles with cutting-edge neurotherapy techniques, we can deliver a treatment that actually works. In doing so, we can contribute step-by-step to the flourishing of the human race.

I am a psychotherapist in Southeast Michigan. Initially trained in biomedical engineering at the University of Michigan, I chose instead to take a path less traveled and pursue my passion for psychology, philosophy, spirituality, and art, leading to a career in psychotherapy. My practice is informed by the humanistic tradition, which takes the stance that the fostering of an authentic, non-judgmental relationship creates the conditions for healing from psychological wounds and reconnecting with our core self. I use my diverse life experience and a multidisciplinary approach to support my clients in achieving their inner and outer goals, so as to support a way of living in harmony with themselves, others, and the world in which they live.
